EDUCATION - EARLY CHILDHOOD
Description: The School of Education at Charleston Southern University invites applications for a faculty position in Early Childhood Education beginning August 1, 2012. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications: Early Childhood applicants should have an earned PhD or EdD and three years of public school teaching experience. NCATE/NAEYC experience preferred.
Charleston Southern seeks candidates for faculty positions who are professing Christians and who are committed to excellence in teaching and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching which may include online, weekends and hybrid courses, collaborating with current faculty, supervising candidates in schools, advising and participating in scholarly activities, committee and community service.
