The Behavioral Sciences Department
at Charleston Southern University offers Bachelor of Science
degrees in psychology and sociology, as well as minors in
both fields of study.
Mission
Statement
The Department supports
the purpose of Charleston Southern University through four
primary services:
- Preparation for entry-level positions in the human
services for occupationally oriented students in psychology
and sociology,
- Preparation for graduate education for students wishing
to continue their education in psychology or sociology,
- The provision of information and knowledge in psychology
and sociology as a supplement to majors in other fields
of study
- The provision of psychology and sociology courses in
the liberal arts curriculum to the student body at large.
