Dr. Yu-Ju ("Joseph") Lin

Bio: Ph.D. Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Florida. Dr. Lin’s dissertation investigated methods by which networks, including the Internet, can by carried over the same power lines that provide electricity to your home and to the workplaces. Dr. Lin is originally from Taiwan. His previous employment includes the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Taiwan where he was a Software Engineer, and the Intellon Corporation of Florida where he was an intern in their Research and Development department. He has published several articles and papers on wireless networks, and on communication using power line transmissions.

Bio: Ph.D Computer Science and Engineering, University of South Carolina. In addition to teaching duties, Dr. Sessions works with the National Institute of Justice on research related to information quality. Prior to this, she was employed as a Navy civilian at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWAR), Atlantic performing computer engineering tasking for the Air Force, National Institute of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security. Dr. Sessions is proud recipient of the 1st Stuart Madnick Best Paper Award from the International Conference on Information Quality hosted by MIT. She resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with her husband and two young children. She attends the First Baptist Church, Charleston and enjoys working with the preschool committee, 3rd-5th grade Sunday School, and attending the Monday morning Women’s Bible Study.

Bio: MCS Computer Science, Texas A&M. Mr. Roberts came to CSU with twelve years of computer experience from various US Air Force satellite development and air operations programs. He has been at CSU since 1981.

Bio: M.S. Computer Science, University of Florida, B.S. Mathematics, University of Florida. Mr. Underwood academic interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and video games. He also enjoys sports and time with his wife and daughter. He is an active member of Summerville Baptist Church helping in VBS.

Bio: M.A.T., Mathematics, Colorado State University. Mr. Worthy came to CSU from NASA where he worked on various projects including the development of lunar soft landing techniques and software. He has been at CSU since 1968.
