To be considered for admission to the Honors Program, students must enter CSU with a minimum SAT score of 1200 (or ACT composite score of 27) and a minimum high school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Students must submit a completed application form (obtained from Admissions) and an essay discussing their educational goals and interest in the Honors Program. Applications will be reviewed by the Executive Committee of the Honors Program Council within two weeks of their receipt. Since there are limited spaces in the Honors Program, meeting the minimum requirements for acceptance does not guarantee acceptance. Students are encouraged to apply early.
