Dr. Norma Harper is the Director of Teaching Fellows and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in Education at Charleston Southern University. Dr. Harper earned a bachelor of science in education degree and a master of education degree from Auburn University. She currently holds GA teaching certification in secondary mathematics and chemistry. She earned a doctorate in education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Alabama.
Dr. Harper has taught high school and college mathematics courses as well as undergraduate and graduate education courses. She has taught in Alabama and Georgia. Presently, she teaches in the undergraduate and graduate programs at CSU.
Dr. Harper is married to William Harper who has an earned doctorate in philosophy. They have two daughters. Grace is 10 and Anna Sophia is 5. The family actively participates in a local church.
