Gilbraitti Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students who are between the ages of 16-20 and who
are attending college during fall of 2013. Applicants must complete the application

Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award
BBG provides the Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award to recognize and reward a student who demonstrates a passion for volunteering, while maintaining a high level of academic achievement. To be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following requirements:
- Over the past 2 years a student must have completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work.
- Over the past 2 years a student must have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or greater.
- A student must be under the ages of 21 years of age on the day of the deadline.
- A student must submit an essay on this year’s topic.

Healthy Choices Scholarship
Sponsored by Dr. Marc Nimchuck of British Columbia, the Healthy Choice Scholarship
is offered to students who will be attending an accredited post-secondary institution
by the fall of 2013. A student can be enrolled at any level in any program that is
two years in length or longer. Additionally, students must be Canadian or U.S. residents.

Scholarship by Design Award
Ever wanted to create a scholarship of your own? Rogers Community Volunteer Scholarship
The main goal of the Rogers Community Volunteer Scholarship is to inspire young people to make contributions to their individual communities, while providing awards to those who are currently making a positive difference in their own neighborhoods, towns, and cities. In order to be eligible for this program, you must be attending school on a full time basis during the fall of 2013 and be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at any level. Additionally, you must have contributed a minimum of 10 hours of non-paid, volunteer service within your community during the last 12 months and have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or greater.

Sedary & Associates Scholarship
To be eligible for the 2013 Sedary Associates Scholarship a student must be one of the following:

Lift Parts Express Scholarship
Going to college is a big financial commitment. The Lift Parts Express Scholarship
program wants to know how much you expect to spend to finish your schooling, how you
intend to pay for your schooling, and what you expect your job to be once you have
finished your schooling. To be eligible, students must be between the ages of 16-21,
be attending school in the fall of 2013, compose an essay on this year’s topic, be

J. Lacy Mclean Endowment Award Scholarship Program

Sterling L. Smith Scholarship Fund
The Sterling L. Smith Scholarship Fund will award one scholarship in an amount of $1,000 which may be applied to tuition, fees, books, and room and board. CampusRN Scholarship Program
CampusRN has launched a new scholarship program in conjunction with the creation of
the CampusRN state edition network. This nationwide scholarship program is the most
comprehensive of its kind for nursing programs and nursing students because it features
scholarship winners from six different regions across the country in which CampusRN
has launched state edition sites.
CampusRN will award six $2500 scholarships to a needy and deserving nursing student in each region. Deadlines for 2013/2014 year will be posted once announced; students can apply for the scholarship program ONLINE HERE.
The CG Fuller Foundation Scholarship
Applicants for this scholarship must be a resident of S.C. , an incoming freshman,
demonstrate financial need, academic achievement & leadership qualities. Applicant
must score at least an 1100 on SAT or 24 on ACT. For an application please contact

Christian Vocational Scholarship, aka CRVS Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled full-time in a South Carolina college/university
and who are committed to a church related vocation. The student must agree to participate
in a ministry-related practical experience approximately 2-6 hours per week under
a designated supervisor. The applicant must be classified as a full-time student and
have above a 2.0 GPA. Applications are available online. The applicant will be expected to attend a personal interview session held during
April in one of three different geographical areas of the state.
Dick Horne Foundation
Bridge Program students from the Orangeburg area who demonstrate academic achievement
and have financial need are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applications are

The J. E. Sirrine Scholarship Program
The J.E. Sirrine Scholarship was established in 1973 and provides scholarship assistance
to high school seniors of the 14 Greenville County high schools in Greenville, South
Carolina, who have met the academic and financial need criteria as set forth in the
Sirrine guidelines.
A high school graduate may also apply for the Sirrine Scholarship up to three years after the date of graduation. The value of the scholarship ranges from $200 to $2,000, depending on the financial need, and may be used for an undergraduate degree program at any accredited four-year college, two-year college, technical or vocational school anywhere in the United States.
The scholarships are renewable. Checks in the amount of the scholarship award are payable directly to the designated college and sent to the financial aid office of that institution. Summerville Medical Center/ Berlin G. Myers Scholarship
There will be (5) scholarships totaling $5,000 for high school seniors who have permanent
residence in the tri-county area. These scholarships will be awarded to students who
will be enrolling or who have a declared major in a medical-related profession. Preference

South Carolina Bankers Association - Lloyd I. Hendricks Scholarship
Attention Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in a career in banking? The South
Carolina Bankers Association is offering all full-time juniors and seniors an opportunity
to apply for the Lloyd I. Hendricks Scholarship. Students who are interested need
to read the specifications included in the College Cover Letter, complete the College
Application and return it to the Financial Aid Office. Application Deadline is March

State Farm, in partnership with the Big South Conference, is offering a scholarship

Gavalas Kolanko Foundation Scholarship
The Gavalas Kolanko Foundation (GKF) is proud to award scholarships to students with
physical impairments (sight, hearing, movement) at Charleston Southern University.
The recipient needs to be willing to serve as a representative of the Foundation and
participate in GKF-related functions that occur during the scholarship year. The scholarship
can be renewed for up to a total of four years. A full application is required the
first application year. Each of the following years a current transcript is required
by the application deadline. The scholarship is not automatically renewed each year,
a transcript must be provided for the board to review. The application can be downloaded
from the Gavalas Kolanko Foundation's website but is submitted to the University’s Office for Disability Services, located in the
Strom Thurmond Student Success Center.
