Many CSU grads have gone on to successful careers in various industries. We have some current students who’d like to take your jobs.
The Alumni Office has partnered with the Career Services office on campus to create the Buccaneer Career Network. The network is a group of dedicated alumni who volunteer their knowledge and expertise in various industries and geographic locations to interested students and other alumni. The following are ways in which you can become involved:
· Advice – Discuss your career, industry, company or geographic location with an interested student.
· Job Shadowing – Host a student on the job to provide exposure to a given work environment or host a group of interested students for a site visit.
· Job Assistance (summer or full-time) – List a full or part-time job or internship opportunity with your company or offer pass along any openings to our staff regarding particular businesses with which you have contact.
· Career Conversations – Return to campus to discuss your career and how you got there with current students as a guest speaker.
This is a wonderful opportunity to make a huge impact on a student’s career decision. The Career Services office is a fantastic resource for current students and alumni who are looking for assistance with resume writing, interviewing skills, or industry information.
