Biology Majors 

 

Bachelor of Science in Biology:  A major in Biology with a General Emphasis consists of 56 hours; 52 semester hours in Biology courses and the required 4 hours of supporting studies and requires a minor.

Bachelor of Science in Biology (Preprofessional Emphasis):A major in Biology with a Preprofessional Emphasis consists of 77-79 hours; 49-51 hours in Biology courses plus the required 28 hours of supporting studies and does not require a minor.

Bachelor of Science in Biology (Wildlife Emphasis): A major in Biology with a Wildlife Emphasis consists of 76 hours; 60 semester hours of Biology courses, plus the required 16 semester hours of supporting studies courses and does not require a minor.

In addition to taking courses related to your major you will take the required  liberal arts core of 47 semester hours. The liberal arts core classes are general education courses taught from a Christian worldview where faith is integrated in learning.
