Profile: Dr. Sharon G. Johnson
Dr. Sharon Johnson serves as professor of management and director of institutional research and assessment at Charleston Southern. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Anderson University Doctorate of Business Administration program.
Dr. Johnson earned his undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees at Florida State University and served a two-year overseas tour as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He has previously taught at Francis Marion University, Baylor University and Cedarville University. He also taught as an adjunct faculty member in the Taylor University MBA Program. His teaching areas have included management, leadership, strategic management, organizational change and business ethics. He has written numerous articles, presented a number of papers and been involved in organizational consulting and training.
Dr. Johnson is a member of several business honor societies, was the founding editor of the Journal of Biblical Integration in Business for the Christian Business Faculty Association and served on the Board of the CBFA. He is the only CBFA member to receive all three of its awards: the Richard C. Chewning award for leadership, the Sharon G. Johnson Award for scholarship and the Barnabas Award for service.
