Profile: Charles Reed 


Charles Reed is a lecturer of business administration at Charleston Southern. He earned a bachelor of science in political science from the University of Tennessee and a master of business administration from Sacred Heart University. He spent more than 20 years traveling domestically and internationally with a number of Fortune 100 Corporations, with management responsibilities in sales, marketing and general management.

His corporate activities included manufacturing, distribution and retailing. Upon leaving his corporate career, he established three start-up businesses and was directly involved in their growth and development for a number of years. Before coming to Charleston he was a university administrator/adjunct for a number of universities in the Northeast.

He teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in both management and marketing in the classroom and online. His interests include history and geopolitical environments and how they affect business environments.
