Summer and Ricky Reyes are in their second year of coaching cheerleading at Charleston Southern University. Summer is from Anderson, SC and graduated from CSU in 2003. Ricky is from Hanahan, SC and also graduated from CSU in 2003. They both cheered for CSU during their educational careers. Summer continued her education at University of South Carolina receiving her law degree in 2007. She currently works for Charleston Southern University as the Manager of Student Accounts. Ricky is a spanish teacher, football and track coach at Hanahan High School. Summer and Ricky were married in 2005 and began coaching the cheerleaders in 2006. Summer and Ricky worked as instructors for US Cheer for a total of 4 years, have conducted numerous stunt clinics in the area, and have judged several tryouts and competitions. They are excited about the program at CSU and are looking forward to the program to the next level. They are taking the squad to its first ever competition this year, and have a goal to reach Nationals in Florida by 2010.
