Glenda Nanna | Director of Counseling

Message from the Director of Counseling:

As Director of Counseling Services, I have the opportunity to serve students by providing professional mental health services through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and referral, and consultation. We also aware of the importance of providing services that are focused on wellness and prevention. We are pleased to be able to offer these services to our students at no charge. We value the integration of psychology and theology as the basis for ministering to students as professionals with a distinctively Christian worldview.

Biography:

Mrs. Nanna has served as Director of Counseling Services since August 2004. She has been at CSU since August 2001 as an adjunct professor and has most recently served as Visiting Professor of Psychology. Mrs. Nanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas and a Master of Arts degree in professional counseling from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of South Carolina. She has worked with patients as a clinical therapist in a Mental Health Facility and in private practice. Nanna has a background in Christian ministry to couples, women and young people and continues to be active in ministry through worship, teaching and counseling.
