INSTRUCTIONS:

Please submit this application to be registered for the APPLE Program. You will be contacted within 48 hours after your application is received only IF YOUR APPLICATION IS NOT ACCEPTED. If you are not contacted, you will be registered for the APPLE Program. You are required to complete the Part 1 and Part 2 APPLE Orientation Workshops (two sessions totaling 3 hours). Contact Career Planning and Student Employment at 863-8019 to schedule an APPLE Orientation time.

The APPLE program director will use only your CSU E-mail as a method of communication throughout the semester. Students are required to check their CSU e-mail daily.


PREREQUITES:

To be eligible for an APPLE a student must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average and 61 earned hours of credit. Transfer students must have completed at least 15 hours of credit at CSU. Students must be a full-time CSU student in good standing.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Schedule and complete APPLE Part 1 and Part 2 APPLE Orientation sessions. Complete the confirmation slip at the end of the each session.
• Register and search the BucCareer Network, our job posting resource, at http://csuniv-csm.symplicity.com to view and select approved APPLE positions prior to the APPLE Orientation Sessions.
• Submit your resume on the BucCareer Network for critique and approval prior to your interview.
• Complete the Mock Interview in the Career Planning and Student Employment prior to your APPLE interview(s)
• Confirm APPLE site selection by turning in the APPLE Form in your APPLE Handbook that you will receive at the beginning of your first APPLE Orientation Session
• Complete and submit your APPLE Job Plan Objectives to the APPLE Director prior to each interview. The APPLE Job Plan is, located in your APPLE Handbook.
• Submit a signed APPLE Contract prior to your start date. The APPLE Contract is located in your APPLE Handbook.
• Complete and submit your APPLE Final Reflection Paper by the deadlines specified in your APPLE Handbook.
• Schedule an appointment with the APPLE Director if you need assistance at any time during the semester
• Submit your APPLE Final Reflection Paper. The guidelines and deadline for submission is located in your APPLE Handbook.
