A key method for branding your company
on a college campus is to support career related programming.
Career Planning and Student Employment offers several
opportunities for companies to show students their
commitment to Charleston Southern University. Financial
support allows for company specific advertising to
be prominently displayed, while volunteering allows
for networking with our talented students. Here are
a number of less traditional ways for Charleston Southern
students to get to know you.
Sponsorship
The Job
Resource Conference and MUSC Night are forums for informal exchange between
company representatives and students. Attended by Charleston Southern
undergraduates, Science Students, faculty members, and administrators,
these
events are a key way to maximize your organization's exposure
and gain information about our curricula and students.
Sponsorship: $350 per event
Internship
(Applied Learning Experience Program)
Career
Planning and Student Employment can connect you to
all undergraduate students at Charleston Southern
University. An internship provides organizations
with the opportunity to meet and identify candidates early
in the recruiting process for future internship and
employment opportunities. Through this
shared job-shadowing experience, students, and organizations
are able to forge strong and valuable connections
greatly beneficial to both the students
and the sponsors. For further information, please see http://www.csuniv.edu/careerplanning/appleprogram.asp.
Student
Programs
We
believe strongly in the importance of engaging students in
the career development process, enabling them to achieve
their individual career goals.
With the help of corporate partners and alumni, we work through counseling
and education to help students integrate their academic and co-curricular
experiences into internship and job search strategies.
Participation in the following programs
will enable you to meet and recruit our talented students
and offers a highly visible branding opportunity for
your company or organization.
