Values & Ethics Lecture Series with Bryan Loritts
February 4-5, 2016

Join us in the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership for the Values and Ethics Lecture Series. This year's theme is "RECONCILE: God, Family, and Race."

Bryan Loritts is the Pastor for Preaching and Mission at Trinity Grace Church in New York City.  A graduate of Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia College of Bible) and Talbot School of Theology, Bryan Loritts was recently voted one of the top thirty emerging Christian leaders.  He is the co-founder of Fellowship Memphis, where he served as Lead Pastor of this multi-ethnic church for eleven years, helping to grow the church from 26 people in a living room to several thousand.  He also serves as the President of the Kainos Movement, an organization aimed at establishing the multi-ethnic church in America as the new normal.  He has written several books including, God on Paper; Letters to a Birmingham Jail; Right Color/Wrong Culture; and A Cross Shaped Gospel. Pastor Bryan also serves on the Board of Trustees for Biola University and is the husband of Korie, and proud father of three boys- Quentin, Myles and Jaden.

In collaboration with Call2Business, the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership will host the 3rd Annual Kingdom Business Conference. For the past two years national and global business leaders have gathered and shared their experiences on how God called them to business, how their faith shapes how they lead and how God is their CEO!

This year, not only will the conference feature world-class business leaders sharing their wisdom and experience through plenary sessions, breakouts and 1-on-1 mentoring, but the highlight will be our first "Lions' Den Business Plan Competition!"

Reasonable Faith in an Uncertain World
April 8-9, 2016

In partnership with First Baptist Church of Charleston and Biola University, this conference will feature Dr. Craig Hazen, Dr. Clay Jones, Andrew Blalock and others.  It will examine the current state of unbelief in the United States, the challenges posed by world religions, dealing with charges against Christianity, foundational evidence for the authority of scripture and the reality of the resurrection.

Charleston Southern University, recognized as One of America's Best Christian Colleges, will host a Student Leadership Summit on Saturday, September 17 in the Drew Conference Center in the Whitfield Center for Christian Leadership.

With all the noise and confusion in today's society, Christian leadership provides a clear and clarifying voice that engages and transforms the culture.

Charleston Southern's Student Leadership Summit seeks to raise a generation to find their voice so they may flourish as leaders. Not only will these young leaders have a clear vision for their future but also they will influence others to discover theirs as well.
