 Katie Braeuer

Katie Braeuer holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas and is a South Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor Candidate. After completing clinical work at the Denton County Juvenile Detention in Denton, Texas, she went on to work as a full-time therapist in a community mental health outpatient clinic in the Wichita, Kan. area. Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Friends University, where she later served as an adjunct professor for several psychology courses. Her interests and range of experience include working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, criminal or legal issues, family/relationship concerns, stress management, spiritual concerns and self-esteem. In addition to counseling, Katie is an avid basketball fan, loves to travel and enjoys going to the beach with her husband Matt and their dogs.

 Madeline Wilkins

Part-time Counselor

Madeline Wilkins is from Chapin, S.C. She went to Clemson University (Go Tigers!) where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and then continued her education at Columbia International University where she earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. Madeline completed her internship at Charleston Southern University and is excited to be back working with CSU students this year. She is passionate about partnering with clients to work through personal identity development and women’s issues. In addition to counseling, Madeline also enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the Lowcountry with her husband, Jay.

Logan Freeman

Logan Freeman

Intern

Logan Freeman is currently finishing her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling at The Citadel. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the College of Charleston. Originally from Darlington, S.C., she is passionate about helping others who are in the transitional period of life and who are developing their own identity. Through her Practicum she gained experience and interest working with people as they struggle with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, interpersonal relationship concerns, coping with mental illness, and a variety of other issues. In addition, Logan enjoys spending time with her fiancé and friends, visiting family, attending concerts, and traveling when she has the opportunity.

Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis

Jeff Lewis is finishing his graduate degree in counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He thoroughly enjoys working with college students from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Jeff helps students deal with a range of issues such as adjustment, anxiety, and relationship challenges. In addition to spending time with his wife and twin boys he enjoys swimming, spinning, and coaching youth sports. 

Rico Hall

Rico Hall

Practicum Student

Rico is currently a Clinical Counseling graduate student at Columbia International University, as well as the Men’s Basketball Player Development Coach. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken in Communications and Exercise and Sports Science, and a Master of Arts degree from Eastern University in Organizational Leadership. His clinical interests include integrative therapy styles and sport performance psychology. Rico’s passion is to help others become the very best versions of themselves and to live a life of peace and freedom. In his spare time, Rico enjoys playing basketball, hanging out at the beach and exploring new places with his wife, Lindsay.

Nancy Castillo is currently pursuing a Master of Art degree in professional counseling from Liberty University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Charleston Southern University. Her interests include working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationship concerns, stress management, and spiritual concerns. Outside of work interests, Nancy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and reading.
