Board of Visitors
The Board of Visitors is an important support group for the University. It is a channel for the involvement and networking of distinguished citizens and leaders who are interested in furthering the University’s mission and providing assistance in the areas of planning, promoting and resource development.
 Board meetings are scheduled semiannually in March and October. Other meetings may be conducted as needed. Board members are involved in providing long-range planning assistance and enhancing the institution’s image through:
• Referring prospective students
• Assisting students in locating internships and permanent employment
• Networking for the University
• Developing financial resources
Benefits include:

Invitation to the President’s Club Dinner
• Twice yearly Board of Visitors meetings
• Invitation to the spring Scholarship Luncheon
• Spouse trips in conjunction with Board of Visitors meetings
• Invitation to selected University events
• Quarterly networking breakfast
Each member serves a four-year term and contributes a minimum gift of $1,000 annually, which provides direct scholarship support to a deserving student.

Leadership Council of the BOV
Benefits include:
• Access to selected outstanding seniors who possess potential as future employees
• Formal recognition in University publications and local media outlets
• Board of Visitors membership

• Invitation to the spring Scholarship Luncheon

Each member serves a four- year term and contributes a minimum gift of $2,500 annually, which provides direct scholarship support to deserving students.

Executive Council of the BOV
Benefits include:
• Serve on the Executive Council to advise and support a particular college or school of their choice (College of Humanities and Social Science, College of Science and Mathematics, School of Business, School of Education, School of Nursing)
• Opportunity to interact with faculty in member’s area of interest and, if appropriate, speak to students or serve on discussion panels.
• Invitation to attend selected social gatherings with dean and faculty
• Board of Visitors membership
