William L. Ward

Bill Ward joined the Charleston Southern family in 1990. As executive director for development and a member of the president’s cabinet, he provides leadership in all areas of University fundraising (alumni annual fund, unrestricted giving, planned giving, scholarship and endowment, capital projects, etc.) and associated programs and services. His responsibilities include the identification, cultivation and solicitation of potential donors and the stewardship of current donors.

Bill holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from CSU and a master of arts degree in management from Webster University. He is a decorated U.S. Navy veteran having served honorably for more than 20 years in the U.S. Naval Submarine Service.
