Patty O'Donnell is an associate professor of sociology in the behavioral sciences department at Charleston Southern University. She received her bachelor of arts in sociology from Monmouth University, her master of arts and PhD in sociology from the University of Notre Dame.
She teaches courses in Research methods, Statistics, Criminology and Principles of Sociology. Her scholarly interests have included community policing, perceptions of crime seriousness and assessment of academic programs.
Dr. O'Donnell has a background in grant writing and research and is currently serving on the University's Institutional Review Board.
