Lynne Mann is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Charleston Southern University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Virginia and her Master of Nursing from University of Technology, Sydney in Sydney Australia. Her specialty areas are Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing and Community Health Nursing. Ms. Mann is an NLN board certified nurse educator and currently teaches undergraduate level courses. She has previously taught graduate level courses, developed nursing courses, and assisted with program development and evaluation.
Ms. Mann has been a faculty member at CSU since January 2014 but she has been in nursing education for the past 15 years. She retired from Baylor University School of Nursing in December 2013 after 8 years on faculty there. Ms. Mann has more than 43 years of nursing experience and has clinical experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health, Community Health, Pediatrics, Neonatal ICU, and Medical/Surgical nursing. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nursing Association, National League of Nurses, American Nurses Association, South Carolina Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International honor society of nursing.
