Jacqueline Fish

BIO

Dr. Jacqueline Fish serves as the vice president for academic affairs. She is also a professor of criminal justice and maintains her expertise in forensics by teaching advanced forensics courses for the Department of Homeland Security. She has authored four crime scene books and was the founding project manager for The National Forensics Academy at The University of Tennessee.

Fish and her husband, Paul, relocated to the Lowcountry in 2006 when she joined the faculty at Charleston Southern. She earned her doctorate in instructional technology, curriculum and evaluation from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville; her master's degree in criminal justice from The University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, a bachelor of science in criminal justice and an associate's degree in law enforcement from East Tennessee State University. Professionally, she served as a police officer in Knox County, Tennessee, for 17 years worked as a grants and curriculum specialist at the Law Enforcement Innovation Center-UT for nine years and taught both forensics and campus security courses for Louisiana State University for 10 years.

Her professional and academic memberships include the American Association of Forensic Sciences, International Association of Identification, American Criminal Justice Association, Alpha Phi Sigma, Trident United Way and lifetime member of the Girl Scouts. She is an active volunteer with The American Red Cross Lowcountry Chapter.
