Profile: Jeremy B. Jones
Assistant Professor, English Department; Writing Center Coordinator
Jeremy B. Jones is the author of Bearwallow: A Personal History of a Mountain Homeland (John F. Blair 2014). His essays have been named Notable in Best American Essays (2011 and 2009), awarded the Emma Bell Miles Prize and published in Crab Orchard Review, Quarterly West and Ruminate, among others. He has presented at numerous national and regional conferences, including
AWP and CCCC and serves on the board of the Carolina Writing Program Administrators.
In addition to coordinating the university's writing center, he is faculty co-advisor
of Sefer. Jeremy earned his MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of Iowa and joined
the CSU faculty in 2009.
