Writing Center

The Writing Center’s mission is to help students become better writers. It is a place to talk through your writing and receive feedback from other writers in one-on-one sessions.

Through these tutoring sessions, we help students learn to analyze assignments, address audiences appropriately, improve composition processes, strengthen the focus and organization of writing and improve basic grammar, usage and mechanics.  We also help students become better editors by teaching them proofreading skills.

The writing center is located in Norris Hall, room 209, 2nd floor across from the computer lab. See our campus map for details.
