College of Distance and Continuing Education

Welcome to the CSU College of Distance and Continuing Education where career aspirations can become reality. The Evening College programs allow students to pursue a degree during the evening while they fulfill other obligations during the day. The College of Distance and Continuing Education provides students the opportunity to access degree programs in:

BMA Bachelor of Management Arts
Build on your previous college courses and substantial work training to finish what you started. CSU is now offering working adults the opportunity to transfer their liberal arts core courses and electives, qualified military training, and/or business training as credit hours. Most classes meet only one evening a week and, based upon the credit hour status of the applicant, the program can be completed in 24 months.

The Bachelor of Technology degree provides a liberal arts education and a core of professionally related cognate courses for persons holding an associate degree in an approved technical field. Because of the spectrum of expectation of this degree, flexibility and individual tailoring of the cognate curriculum are allowed. No more than 68 hours from sources other than baccalaureate degree-granting institutions may be used toward the 125 hours required for the Bachelor of Technology Degree from Charleston Southern University.

The College of Distance and Continuing Education is especially beneficial to persons in the workforce 23 years of age and older, with at least three years of work experience, and who desire a degree completion program. The bachelor of management arts degree allows adult students to complete their degree on a convenient fast track schedule.
