MA IN ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP CURRICULUM

 

Admissions Requirements 

  • Application
  • Official transcripts from every university/college ever attended
  • Resume
  • Academic Statement (300 - 500 word essay explaining why you chose to attend CSU and your academic and professional goals)
  • Two signed letters of recommendation 

 A GMAT score report is not required at the time of admission, and will only be requested in order for the Graduate Committee to determine whether the applicant has the potential to successfully complete the program.

Orientation- BUSI 601 (0 hours)

Foundation Courses (9 hours)

Core Courses (12 hours - Choose 4 of 6)

Capstone (3 hours)

Electives (9 hours, select 3)

Students may choose any three graduate courses taught within the School of Business (BUSI) except those which are prerequisites for our MBA Program.  For example, BUSI 501, BUSI 502, BUSI 503, BUSI 504, BUSI 505, and BUSI 506 cannot count as electives. The graduate courses taught by the School of Business which may be used as electives in the M.A.

MA Exit Assessment - BUSI 698 (0 credits)

*Students will be allowed to take any graduate business course where the prerequisites have been met.

Students are permitted to take foundation courses while taking core courses, but must complete all foundation and core courses before taking the capstone course.  Students can take electives during any semester in the program.  The capstone course (BUSI 644) should be taken near the end of the program, but does not have to be the last course completed.
