DISTANCE EDUCATION ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITIONS
Description: The Charleston Southern University College of Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) is seeking adjunct faculty to assist in the facilitation of its online courses. Specifically, instructors with a doctorate and at least 5 years of work experience in the field they would be teaching is required for application. Applicants should have at minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and online instruction is preferred. The current academic areas needed include; Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Statistics, Marketing, & International Business.
Through the CAPS programs, several General Elective course areas are in need of additional adjunct faculty. These include; History, English, World Literature, Political Science, Math, Psychology and Sociology. Doctoral applicants will be a priority for consideration. Teaching experience in the GE courses in an online platform is preferred but not required.
These positions are not full-time. Applications will be collected by CDCE and distributed for use by various divisions as positions need to be filled. Please do not contact individual departments when applying for these positions.
Qualifications: A master's degree (18 graduate content hours), certification and adequate experience are expected in each of these areas (Doctorate preferred). Application review will be conducted on a continual basis.
