The following databases are only available to faculty, staff, and students of Charleston Southern University:
Academic OneFile (InfoTrac)
A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals in most disciplines
Academic Search Premier (EBSCOHost) 
A general, multi-disciplinary database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals
Business and Company Resource Center with PROMT and Newsletters 
Offers topical business information and company and industry intelligence on thousands of global companies. It provides business, company, and industry content in the following areas: periodical articles, news articles, and press releases; detailed information for domestic and international companies and associations including information on corporate hierarchical structures; company financials and earning estimates; investment reports; corporate chronologies and company histories; brands and product information; industry and company rankings; market share data; industry overviews; and HR law case digests.
Business Source Premier (EBSCOHost) 
Provides full text for more than 8,800 serials, including full text for more than 1,100 peer-reviewed business publications. Business Source Premier contains all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics.
Business Source Premier Enhanced Searching Interface (EBSCOHost) 
The enhanced interface includes a browse function for industry profile (overview and market value), company profile (Datamonitor report), country report (economic and political background), and market research report (market insight and emerging trends).
EBSCO eBook Collection
A collection of over 21,000 electronic books available in full text online. These titles may be searched in the library's catalog or directly in the EBSCO database. Formerly known as NetLibrary, titles in this collection cover all subject areas.

A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals.
General BusinessFile ASAP (InfoTrac)
With General BusinessFile ASAP you can analyze company performance and activity, industry events and trends as well as the latest in management, economics and politics. Additionally, you have access to a combination of broker research reports, trade publications, newspapers, journals and company directory listings with full text and images available.
General OneFile (InfoTrac)
A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals in most disciplines ranging from architecture to biology and history to mathematics.
JSTOR
An archive of scholarly journals that offers high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. The journals archived in JSTOR span many disciplines. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR.
New York Times
Selected full text of the New York Times from 1985 to the present is available in several of the library's databases, with complete digital coverage from 2008 to three months ago available in ProQuest Digital Microfilm. In addition, the library keeps the last 8 weeks of the newspaper in paper format, and has 1851 to 2009 on microfilm. To locate the correct resource for the date you need, see this list.
Opposing Viewpoints in Context
Provides contextual information and opinions on hundreds of today's hottest social issues. Drawing on the acclaimed Greenhaven Press series, it features continuously updated viewpoint articles, topic overviews, full-text magazines, academic journals, news articles, primary source documents, statistics, images, videos, audio files and links to vetted websites organized into a user-friendly portal experience.
Oxford Journals Online
Provides abstract and full text access to journals published by Oxford University Press. Disciplines covered in Oxford Journals are the humanities, law, life sciences, mathematics & physical sciences, medicine, and social sciences.
Oxford Reference Online Premium
Combines language and subject reference works together to form a large reference library. It contains over 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works. The section for Economics & Business is found under "Subjects and Books."
Regional Business News (EBSCOHost) 
Provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. It contains 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States.
Small Business Resource Center
Search this database to learn how to start, finance or manage your small business. Resources include sample business plans, how to guides, articles and websites.
SpringerLink
An online collection of science, technology, and mathematics (STM) books, journals, and reference works from Springer-Verlag. Subject areas covered include Architecture and Design; Behavioral Science; Biomedical and Life Sciences; Business and Economics; Chemistry and Materials Science; Computer Science; Earth and Environmental Science; Engineering, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law; Mathematics and Statistics; Medicine; Physics and Astronomy; Professional and Applied Computing.
STAT-USA (Not available from off campus. See Reference Librarian for on campus use)
A database that contains federal government statistics since 1985. Two distinct databases make up STAT-USA. State of the Nation (SOTN) contains information on the direction of the U.S. economy through a repository of economic indicators on topics such as employment, wholesale and retail prices, monetary and housing trends, gross domestic product, etc. Global Business Opportunities (GLOBUS) & the National Trade Data Bank (NTDB) contain information on overseas buyers discovered by U.S. officials in the field. It contains over 200,000 current and historical documents on export opportunities by industry, country, and product; political and socio-economic conditions in hundreds of countries, etc.
