Databases and Journal Indexes
The following databases are only available to faculty, staff, and students of Charleston Southern University:
Academic OneFile (InfoTrac)
A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals in most disciplines
Academic Search Premier (EBSCOHost) 
A general, multi-disciplinary database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals
e-Duke Journals Scholarly Collection: Expanded
Provides online access to journal titles published by Duke University Press. Subjects include the Humanities and Social Sciences. The number of titles in the collection is expected to grow from year to year. All of the journals are also accessible by title through the library's Journals by Title webpage.
EBSCO eBook Collection
A collection of over 21,000 electronic books available in full text online. These titles may be searched in the library's catalog or directly in the EBSCO database. Formerly known as NetLibrary, titles in this collection cover all subject areas.
Enciclopedia Universal en Español (from Encyclopedia Britannica)
A comprehensive encyclopedia in the Spanish language published by Encyclopedia Britannica. It contains over 47,000 articles, 8,300 photos and images, 65,000 dictionary entries, a world atlas, timelines for general, art, and cultural history, and more.
Expanded Academic (InfoTrac)
A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals.
General OneFile (InfoTrac)
A general database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals in most disciplines ranging from architecture to biology and history to mathematics.
JSTOR
An archive of scholarly journals that offers high-resolution, scanned images of journal issues and pages as they were originally designed, printed, and illustrated. The journals archived in JSTOR span many disciplines. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. Select Advanced Search to choose discipline title.
MLA International Bibliography (EBSCOHost) 
Offers a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations. Produced by the Modern Language Association, the electronic version of the bibliography dates back to the 1920s and contains over 1.8 million citations from more than 4,400 journals & series and 1,000 book publishers.
Oxford Reference Online Premium
Combines language and subject reference works together to form a large reference library. It contains over 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works. The section for "Bilingual Dictionaries" is found under Subjects & Books.
