A general, multi-disciplinary database that contains full text and indexed articles from magazines, newspapers, books and journals
Alt HealthWatch (EBSCOHost) 
Focuses on the many perspectives of complementary, holistic and integrated approaches to health care and wellness. Offers full text articles for more than 180 international, and often peer-reviewed journals and reports. In addition, there are hundreds of pamphlets, booklets, special reports, original research and book excerpts. Features indexing and abstracts as far back as 1984, and full text going back as far as 1990.
CINAHL Plus with Full Text 
A comprehensive source for nursing and allied health journals, providing indexing for over 2,700 journals with full text for more than 620 journals, plus full text for 218 books/monographs, with some full text coverage dating back to 1937. CINAHL Plus with Full Text also includes the Pre-CINAHL dataset, which is intended to provide current awareness of new journal articles, providing basic bibliographic information before they are indexed with CINAHL Headings. As Pre-CINAHL journal articles are indexed, the records are replaced with complete CINAHL records.
Consumer Health Complete (EBSCO) 
Designed for the everyday consumer of health care information, CHC provides convenient access to easily understandable health and medical information. Consumers can search and browse within medical encyclopedias, popular reference books, and magazine articles.
Credo Reference 
Provides access to more than 600 subject-specific encyclopedias, biographies, chronologies, dictionaries, and reference titles from over 80 publishers, covering every major subject. Offers over 200,000 images and audio files and nearly 100 videos. Over 10,000 Topic Pages present and organize a variety of information resources on a subject and act as a starting point for research.
EBSCO eBook Collection
A collection of over 21,000 electronic books available in full text online. These titles may be searched in the library's catalog or directly in the EBSCO database. Formerly known as NetLibrary, titles in this collection cover all subject areas.

Subject coverage includes astronomy, biology, botany, chemistry, conservation, health and medicine, oceanography, physics, zoology and much more. Provides full text from more than 100 periodicals dating as far back as 1995, in addition to indexing and abstracts for nearly 300 periodicals dating back to 1984.
Health and Wellness Resource Center with Alternative Health Module (Gale Group)
Provides integrated access to medical, statistical, health, and wellness information. It includes the Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine, up-to-date reference materials, full-text magazines, journals, and pamphlets from a wide variety of authoritative medical sources, and health and medical videos. Additionally descriptions of and links to several pertinent Web sites, selected for their usefulness and appropriateness are among the resources in Health & Wellness Resource Center. Modules for Health and Wellness Resource Center offer additional specialized information segments. The Alternative Health module looks at health care from a holistic lens. The Disease Profiler module offers an empirical, statistical complement to the disease information in HWRC.

Health Source: Consumer Edition (EBSCOHost) 
A collection of consumer health information, providing access to nearly 80 full text, consumer health magazines. This database also includes searchable full text for more than 1,000 health-related pamphlets and more than 130 health reference books, and contains more than 4,500 Clinical Reference Systems reports (in English and Spanish); Lixi-PAL Drug Guide, which covers 1,300 generic drug patient education sheets with more than 4,700 brand names; and Merriam-Webster's Medical Desk Dictionary.

Provides nearly 550 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also featured are abstracts and indexing for nearly 850 journals. MasterFILE Premier (EBSCOHost) 
Designed specifically for public libraries, this multidisciplinary database provides full text for nearly 1,700 periodicals with full-text information dating as far back as 1975. Covering virtually every subject area of general interest, MasterFILE Premier contains full text for nearly 500 reference books and over 164,400 primary source documents, as well as an Image Collection of over 592,000 photos, maps & flags.
MEDLINE (EBSCOHost) 
An authoritative medical information database for medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, etc. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

A weekly international journal publishing the peer-reviewed research in all fields of science and technology. Search the full text of the journal, or select a specific issue from the issue archive.
New York Times
Selected full text of the New York Times from 1985 to the present is available in several of the library's databases, with complete digital coverage from 2008 to three months ago available in ProQuest Digital Microfilm. In addition, the library keeps the last 8 weeks of the newspaper in paper format, and has 1851 to 2009 on microfilm. To locate the correct resource for the date you need, see this list.

ProQuest Digital Microfilm: New York Times
This resource provides cover-to-cover full image access to the New York Times from 2008 to three months ago for an online experience that resembles paging through the newspaper in print or viewing it on microfilm. Users may crop, zoom, or rotate page images and then print, email, or save in PDF format.
