Solomon
was considered to be the wisest man who every lived (except for
Jesus of course). When God asked him what he
could give him, Solomon asked for great wisdom and was given it
to rule the people wisely.
Today, our
people need wisdom! Our students long for Biblical answers to
life’s challenges. We want to come together as
a university and have open discussions about topics that students
have interest in and need some Godly council. Students text their
questions in for open and lively discussions!
Schedule 2011:
September 28 at 8 p.m. in Littlejohn Parlor - Greg Kourkl, When the Bride Is a Groom: Few issues are riding the cultural wave as high as the question of same-sex marriage. Homosexual partners continue to vie for legitimacy by having their relationships sanctioned with the same privileges and protections given heterosexual couples. But when challenged to defend the traditional view of marriage, too many Christians have little more to offer than “because the Bible tells me so.”
November 1 at 8 p.m. in Littlejohn Parlor - Topic is Unity, Free Food and discussion with the Res Life and Student Life Department.
