7:30 p.m. Piano Duo Faculty Recital
The Horton School of Music's resident piano duo, featuring Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire and Dr. Janet Elshazly. They will perform an entertaining program of Classical favorites by Bach and Ravel, as well as exceprts from Bizet's Carmen and Bernstein's West Side Story. The recital is free and open to the public.

Internationally-renowned pianist, Dr. Dmitry Rachmanov of California State University will conduct a piano performance masterclass. This event is free and open to the public.
7:30 p.m. Guest Artist Recital
The Horton School of Music hosts a recital with internationally-renowned pianist, Dr. Dmitry Rachmanov.  A Steinway Artist, Dr. Rachmanov has performed on many of the world’s greatest stages, and now heads the keyboard area at California State University, Northridge.  This concert is free and open to the public.

The HSM hosts the SC Youth Wind Symphony Honor Band featuring high school students from all across South Carolina. The program is free and open to the public.
6 p.m. Pi Kappa Lambda Student Honors Recital
Featuring Horton School of Music students on this prestigious student recital as nominated by HSM Faculty. Free and open to the public, donations appreciated. Reception to follow this recital.

The CSU Lyric Theatre presents the musical "Seussical" by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty. Tickets $20 general admission and $15 for students (age 18 and under or college student with valid ID) and seniors, Ages 10 and under are free. To pre-order tickets, please call 843-863-7966.

The HSM announces the next installment of Summer Music Camps. June 18-23 will host the Percussion Camp of the Carolinas and the SMC Vocal and Lyric Theatre Camps. June 25-30 will host the SMC Band, Orchestra & Piano camps. Application and details available beginning on February 1, 2018.
