Campus closed on Friday, September 2

Charleston Southern University will be closed Friday, September 2 due to presumed
storm conditions. Classes and all campus events are cancelled. Essential personnel
will be notified if they need to report to campus.
All employees should make sure they shut down, or turn of their computer equipment
before leaving campus Thursday.
The Dining Hall will be open to residential students. The Brewer Center will be open from 7 a.m. - 12 p.m.
The L. Mendel Rivers Library will be closed.
We encourage faculty, staff and students to continue monitoring Tropical Storm Hermine.
Please review the CSU Emergency Preparedness Plan for safety guidelines.
Thursday evening September 1 classes will be held; additionally, online class schedules
will not be affected by the storm and student work on assignments should continue
Saturday's home football against Kentucky State is on schedule.
