Christian culture shaper visits CSU
by: University Relations
Charleston Southern University continues the Spring 2013 Chapel series this Wednesday with special guest speaker Esther Fleece. The service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the Lightsey Chapel Auditorium and is open to the public.
Fleece has been widely recognized as a standout in the Christian world. In 2012, she was chosen by CNN as among the five women in religion to watch and was named by Christianity Today as one of the top 50 women shaping the church and culture.
Fleece tweets and blogs about a variety of topics ranging from Tim Tebow’s Christianity (in a recent post at On Faith she compared Tebow to John the Baptist) to why women shouldn’t live with their boyfriends but should rather make them “put a ring on it.” She’s working to redefine what it means to be young and evangelical. In addition, Fleece recently joined Yates & Yates, a leading literary agency serving as creative counsel for top-tier Christian authors, artists, and creative organizations, as Literary Agent and Vice President of Marketing.
Charleston Southern University’s Chapel service is to provide the university with a corporate worship experience connecting the campus community with the thoughts and heart of Jesus Christ, creating a generation to live for HIS Name.
