Hope Radebaugh

Hope Radebaugh, a school teacher and wife to CSU basketball coach, Barclay Radebaugh, challenged university students, faculty and staff with a heartfelt message during chapel. Her question was simple: Where in life are you safe?

Using the imagery of different colored cups, Radebaugh demonstrated our beings composed of body, soul, unholy and Holy Spirit.  We are all born with the first three, but unless we invite the fourth component to dwell in us we’ll never be safe.

The wife, mother and teacher also shared very personally the impact of losing a father and father-in-law in the last year.  In addition, she explained how mold exposure in a classroom forced her to take a year’s leave of absence from teaching.

In closing, Radebaugh said that though God allows us to endure life’s storms, He is also in the storm with us.
