CSU finalist for annual Pillar Award

Charleston Southern University has been chosen by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce as a finalist for the Pillar Award, an honor given annually that “recognizes an organization known for long-standing excellence.”

Nominations for the award were submitted by fellow Chamber members, Chamber staff and the Honors Night Committee. The committee reviewed the nominees and selected three finalists for each category. The winner will be announced at the annual Honors Night celebration on September 15 at the Charleston Marriott Hotel, 170 Lockwood Blvd. from 6-9pm.

“Charleston Southern University is honored to be a finalist for The Pillar Award,” said CSU president Dr. Jairy C. Hunter Jr. “The University is grateful to be recognized among excellent organizations that serve our local community. We thank the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, its leaders and the committee for their ongoing support.”
