The CSU community will gather Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. in Lightsey Chapel Auditorium for Prayer First, a focused time of prayer over all areas of the university.
Hosted by Campus Minister Jon Davis and President Jairy Hunter, the event focuses on Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
“The goal of Prayer First is to acknowledge we can do nothing without the Lord. It is a time where we come together to worship the Lord Jesus first and foremost by acknowledging His sovereignty and our dependability,” said Davis.
Chapel credit will be given for Prayer First. Students must have their ID with them to receive credit.
