Karen Arnold is an Instructor of Nursing at the College of Nursing.

She earned her B.S. in Biology from the College of Charleston and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Charleston Southern University.

Mrs. Arnold has 14 years of experience as a Registered Nurse with a clinical specialty in emergency nursing. She is currently a certified emergency nurse. She has worked as a staff nurse and clinical educator for emergency services. Her nursing career experience includes staff nursing, clinical education and nursing education. She teaches medical-surgical courses within the undergraduate nursing program. She also maintains her instructor status for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS).

Mrs. Arnold is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Emergency Nurses Association.
