Profile: April Daley
Ms. April Daley has been a faculty member at Charleston Southern University since
2004. She teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels as an Assistant Professor
of Nursing in the College of Nursing and Allied Health.
She received her bachelor of science in nursing from Georgia College and State University, her master of science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and she is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at the Medical University of South Carolina.
She is nationally certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Daley has over 15 years of experience caring for cardiology, medical/surgical, and critically ill patients. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member, Ms. Daley specialized in clinical research.
She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the South Carolina Nurses Association. She is also a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded Quality and Safety Education in Nursing initiative team, in which the College of Nursing and Allied Health is one of 15 pilot schools in the country.
