Meet
the Faculty: Joye McElroy
Ms. McElroy is an instructor and serves as the Coordinator of Nursing Technology at the Derry Patterson Wingo School of Nursing. She completed her bachelor of science in nursing degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1999. She graduated from South University in Savannah, GA with honors in 2009 after completing her master’s degree in nursing education. Ms. McElroy has over nine years experience in the Emergency Department taking care of cardiac, psychiatric, medical/surgical and critically ill patients.
Ms. McElroy is a nationally Certified Emergency Nurse. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the Emergency Nurses’ Association.
