Majors: BA in Religion and BA in Youth Ministry
The Religion Department offers two majors, a BA in Religion and a BA in Youth Ministry. Each major requires students to take courses in four areas: biblical, theological, historical and practical ministry.
BA in Religion
To graduate with a BA in Religion a student must complete at least 125 hours of courses (Liberal Arts Core, 47 hours; Religion Major, 36 hours; General Electives, 24 hours; and Minor,18 hours). A minimum grade of C must be earned in all courses counting toward the major. Finally, in regard to courses taken for the Religion Major, at least 15 of the 36 hours must be upper level (300/400).
Liberal Arts Core (47 total hrs)
All undergraduates at CSU must take the following classes related to the Liberal Arts

BA in Youth Ministry

Minors: Religion and Christian Leadership
The Religion Department offers two minors, a minor in Religion and a minor in Christian
Leadership, each of which consists of 18 credit hours.
Religion
A minor in Religion requires a student to take the following courses:
- Religion 111 (Survey of OT) (3 hrs)
- Religion 112 (Survey of NT) (3 hrs)
- Religion electives (12 hrs of approved Religion courses; six must be on the 300/400 level)
Christian Leadership
A minor in Christian Leadership requires a student to take the following courses:
