CSU Residence Life strives to create an environment that is conducive to the intellectual, emotional, spiritual and relational well-being of each residential student. Integration of faith in learning, leading and serving are elements that produce opportunities for Residence Life to partner in building a thriving learning community within our residence halls.
Living on campus will provide many new experiences that include making new friends,
facing new challenges and developing memories that will last you a lifetime. We feel
that all of these are important parts of a quality educational experience. Our mission
is to create a community that honors God and enables students to thrive. We do this
through pursuing five themes:
Jesus, Neighbor, Community, Disciple and Accountability.
Check out the Residence Life Guide to get a quick overview of our community and standards. These are just a few of the CSU guidelines. Residents are responsible for knowing the rest of the guidelines listed in the Student Handbook.
Current residential students planning to reside on campus in the spring should confirm their room.
To confirm your room:
Residents who do not confirm their room must remove all items from their room before checking out in December. Additionally, if a resident is unable to confirm their room before leaving for Winter Break, the space will be considered vacant and may be filled over Winter Break.
Any student desiring to live on campus in the spring who is unable to confirm their room should contact the Residence Life department as soon as possible (firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-863-7190). Residence Life cannot approve students to remain on campus without approval from the Business Office.
If you are a current CSU student but do not have housing please complete the upperclassmen housing application. (New and transfer students: please see your enrollment counselor for your housing application)
All residents must check out within 24 hours after their last final. All residents should check out with their RA by December 8, 2017 at noon.
Each student must officially check-in at the beginning of each semester. Moving into a residence hall without going through the proper procedure will result in a $100 fine. The Residence Life staff is unable to allow early check-ins unless required by the university. Please bring your CSU student ID with you to check in.
