Account Control Technology Foundation Second-Year Scholarship 

The Second-Year Scholarship Program is for students who will enroll as second-year students (sophomores) in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university in the fall. Total of (25) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to college students nationwide. The deadline to apply is mid-March.


Gallagher Charitable International MK II Funded Scholarships

Sponsored by Gallagher Charitable International Insurance Services,, five $1,000 scholarships are awarded annually for use during an academic year. Eligibility/Applicant must be:

  • Enrolled full-time in an undergraduate school program at an accredited Christian College/University located in the USA
  • Must be a legal dependent of a missionary family associated with a member organization of The Mission Nexus.


AES Scholarship

The consulting firm of AES Engineers is committed to continuing its support of higher education by providing scholarships to deserving students. To be eligible, the student needs to answer one of the essay questions. We are offering a scholarship that will be awarded on the basis of character, as determined by evaluating the essays that are submitted.  Amount of award: $500.  Deadline is early October of every year.


ASCO Numatics Engineering College Scholarship 

ASCO Numatics will award two, $5,000 scholarships to engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. The scholarships are merit-based and will be awarded on the candidate's potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies.  Scholarship recipients may be eligible for an ASCO Numatics internship. The deadline to apply is April.


AT&T $1,000 Scholarship

There used to be only two ways to watch TV: you either had a cable subscription or you had rabbit ears. Today there are numerous ways to watch TV, from a traditional cable TV package to web-based services like Hulu and Netflix. In fact, there are now many people who only watch TV on the Internet. Has the On Demand revolution and shift to consuming media online affected you positively or negatively as a student? How? Apply twice per year for a chance to win!


William C. Horldt Scholarship

The Charleston Baptist Association Woman's Missionary Union offers the William C. Horldt Scholarship in the amount of $2,000 ($1,000) to a worthy student attending Charleston Southern University.





Baptist Foundation of South Carolina Trustee Scholarship

Christian vocation majors only. Information on where to send the application as well as requirements/guidelines for this scholarship opportunity are printed on the actual application. Deadline is April 30 of each year.



 Veteran Benefits Scholarship is proud to announce their annual scholarship for advancement in higher education. This is a general scholarship which will award each of the selected applicants with a scholarship award of $2,000. Students will need to write a short biography, write an essay, and sign a scholarship agreement in order to apply. The scholarship deadline is December 31, 2017.


CampusRN Scholarship Program Campus RN

CampusRN has launched a new scholarship program in conjunction with the creation of the CampusRN state edition network. This nationwide scholarship program is the most comprehensive of its kind for nursing programs and nursing students because it features scholarship winners from six different regions across the country in which CampusRN has launched state edition sites. CampusRN will award six $2500 scholarships to a needy and deserving nursing student in each region. The deadline for applications is May 1 of each year.



 Adventographer Travel Scholarship

Adventographer believes that travel is a catalyst for change, for personal growth, for acceptance and tolerance. We have a passion for traveling and recording the unique and life changing moments that can happen during those adventures. The Adventographer staff are proud once again to offer a biannual $1500 scholarship to one lucky applicant in each of the fall and spring semesters. Submissions will be of a photo the applicant has taken while traveling, locally or abroad. Followed by a 1000-word short format essay of why that memory or moment is special to them. There are no limits aside from your creativity. – Any photo you took while traveling can compete!


The CG Fuller Foundation Scholarship

Applicants for this scholarship must be a resident of S.C.,  an incoming freshman, demonstrate financial need, academic achievement & leadership qualities. Applicant must score at least an 1100 on SAT (reading and math) or 24 on ACT (composite). The family's adjusted gross income must be $60,000 or less.  Deadline to submit the application is April 1st of each year.



 Straight North STEM Scholarship

With Internet marketing becoming more complex and challenging by the day, successful execution requires a solid education. As an industry leader, Straight North supports students pursuing degrees in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines. Through the Straight North STEM Scholarship, the winning student will be awarded $1,000 to be used toward his or her degree. In addition, they award $250 book scholarships to the two runners-up. Christian Community Credit Union Scholarship

Christian Community Credit Union offers Scholarships for Success to its members attending College, a University, or Seminary. Eligible students must be full-time undergraduates enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester or graduate students enrolled in six or more hours per semester. The maximum scholarship is $4,000 for Undergraduate students; $2,000 for Graduate students. Application for membership and scholarship can be submitted at the same time. Applications must be submitted by the end of March.



Ignition Center Scholarship

Ignition will be awarding $1000 to between 1 and 5 applicants from universities across the country, who demonstrate a commitment and passion for starting his or her own business.  The funds will be used to provide services to assist the startup in attaining its goals.  Ignition will also provide mentorship assistance to the winners.  APPLICATIONS are due December 15, and the winners will be announced on January 1, 2018.


The Ty Cobb Scholarship Program

Scholarship aid for needy and deserving youth of Georgia who have completed at least one year in an accredited institution of higher learning. For information, write:

Employer Scholarship Program

Many companies have scholarship programs for their employees and/or their dependents. Students and parents should check with the personnel office of their company to see if such benefits are available.


Exchange Club Scholarship

The Exchange Club of Charleston offers a community-based scholarship every year to students who have at least a 3.0 GPA, demonstrate need, live in the tri-county area, have completed their freshman year of college and have a recent history of involvement in community service. #MyCredibleFuture Scholarship

From August 1, 2017, through October 31, 2017, any student actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate university program can submit a photo and story about "why your education is important to you" for a chance to earn the #MyCredibleFuture $10,000 scholarship through


Gavalas Kolanko Foundation

The Gavalas Kolanko Foundation (GKF) is proud to award scholarships to students with physical impairments (sight, hearing, movement) at the College of Charleston and Charleston Southern University. The scholarship can be renewed for up to a total of four years. A full application is required the first application year. Each of the following years a current transcript is required by the application deadline. The scholarship is not automatically renewed each year; a transcript must be provided for the board to review.



GreenPal Scholarship

The GreenPal Business Scholarship aims to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in that are attending college or running a small business. The purpose is to assist a motivated, driven student that is hoping to someday have their own business. For more information, please see the scholarship instructions

Jane Edna Hunter Scholarship

Joye Scholarship Program

The Joye Law Firm is offering six $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in South Carolina who plan to attend a four-year institution of higher learning for the upcoming semester. Deadline date is mid-April of each year. For more information visit

The J. E. Sirrine Scholarship Program

The J.E. Sirrine Scholarship was established in 1973 and provides scholarship assistance to high school seniors of the 14 Greenville County high schools in Greenville, South Carolina, who have met the academic and financial need criteria as set forth in the Sirrine guidelines.

A high school graduate may also apply for the Sirrine Scholarship up to three years after the date of graduation. The value of the scholarship ranges from $200 to $2,000, depending on the financial need, and may be used for an undergraduate degree program at any accredited four-year college, two-year college, technical or vocational school anywhere in the United States. The scholarships are renewable.

Checks in the amount of the scholarship award are payable directly to the designated college and sent to the financial aid office of that institution. The application and a copy of the Student Aid Report must be postmarked no later than April 15th of each year and sent to:

S.C. Association of CPAs (SCACPA) Educational Fund

The Educational Fund is offering scholarships that range from $500 to $2,500 for the 2015-16 academic year.  Eligible students must be a South Carolina resident, full-time student, rising junior or senior majoring in accounting (or master's degree student) at a South Carolina college or university and have a minimum 3.25 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).PP

South Carolina Federal Credit Union Scholarship

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is hosting their fourth annual competition awarding three (3) scholarships totaling $7,500. For more information, please email


Summerville Medical Center/ Berlin G. Myers Scholarship

There will be (5) scholarships totaling $5,000 for high school seniors who have permanent residence in the tri-county area. These scholarships will be awarded to students who will be enrolling or who have a declared a major in a medical-related profession. Preference will be given to qualified Dorchester County high school seniors.


Sunbelt Rentals Scholarship Program

Sunbelt Rentals in partnership with the Big South Conference established this scholarship for eligible minority students entering their final semester at CSU and other member institutions within the Big South Conference. The application and requirements/guidelines for this scholarship opportunity will be available every September and the deadline for application will be late-November or early-December. The Christian Community Credit Union "Scholarships for Success" Program

The Christian Community Credit Union is offering multiple scholarships for the 2017-2018 academic school year. Members of the Christian Community Credit Union with an active checking account can receive up to $4,000/academic year as a full-time undergraduate student or up to $2,000/year as a full-time graduate student.


The Dr. Syrus Derksen Psychologist and Therapist Scholarship Contest

The Dr. Syras Derksen Psychologist and Therapist Contest is a scholarship essay that is available to students that are pursuing a bachelor of arts in Psychology. Students that are seeking to pursue a career as a psychologist or therapist is eligible. The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a student that completes a 250-word essay on why you want to be a psychologist or therapist.


The Oakville Therapist Scholarship

The Oakville Therapist Scholarship is a scholarship essay that is available to students that are pursuing a bachelor of arts in Psychology. Indy Displays Graphic Arts Scholarship

The Church Mutual Insurance Company Foundation Religious Scholars Program

The Church Mutual Insurance Company Foundation is offering fifty $5,000 scholarships for our graduate students that are studying to go into the Ministry. As part of their mission to Protect the Greater Good, the foundation believes helping young, vibrant religious leaders today will ensure strong faith-based communities of tomorrow. The Religious Scholars Program is open to full-time students across the country who are in an advanced degree seeking religious studies program. Mary G. Webster Scholarship Fund of the Palmetto Land Title Association
